REV. DAVID PETERSEN

It was in 2000 that Rev. Petersen became Pastor of Redeemer Lutheran. He earned a B.S. in History from Central Michigan University as well as a Master of Divinity degree and a Masters in Sacred Theology from Concordia Theological Seminary in Ft. Wayne. In addition to his pastoral duties he is also an editor of Gottesdienst: The Journal of Lutheran Liturgy, where he writes on the life and liturgy of the Church.
Pastor Petersen is the author of Thy Kingdom Come: Lent and Easter Sermons published through Emmanuel Press. He has served on the English District Board of Directors and is currently on the Commission on Theology and Church Relations for the LCMS.
