Rev. David H. Petersen
Rev. Dr. David H. Petersen became Pastor of Redeemer Lutheran Church in 2000. He earned a B.S. in History from Central Michigan University. He also earned a Master of Divinity degree, a Master of Sacred Theology, and a Doctor of Ministry from Concordia Theological Seminary in Ft. Wayne. He and his wife Jacqui have three grown children and four grandchildren. He is a regular guest on Issues, Etc, a contributing editor to Gottesdienst: The Journal of Lutheran Liturgy, where he writes both for the print journal and the blog, and a frequent blogger at the Lutheran Witness
Rev. Michael Frese
Pastor Frese served as a parish pastor in Adell, Wisconsin, and a Military Chaplain (Active-duty Army) before accepting the call to become Associate Pastor of Redeemer Lutheran in 2012. He still serves as a Military Chaplain in the Air National Guard in Fort Wayne and also is the owner and operator of Emmanuel Press.
Rev. Dr. Daniel Reuning
Since 1987 Rev. Dr. Daniel Reuning has been Kantor at Redeemer Lutheran. After retirement from Concordia Theological Seminary, where he served for 31 years, he founded The Bach Collegium – Fort Wayne and has served as its artistic director since 2002.
Mrs. Jane Casey has been the secretary at Redeemer Lutheran since June 2009. She and her husband, Colin, moved to Fort Wayne in 2002. For over 20 years most of her energies were devoted to homeschooling their four children and helping support other homeschooling families.
Dr. Jason Thompson
Conductor, Assistant Choirmaster
Jason Luke Thompson, an elder at Redeemer Lutheran, directs the Redeemer Consort. He is also a professor of music at Indiana Wesleyan University, where he conducts the orchestra, opera, and musical theatre in addition to teaching violin and music history.
