At Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne, we believe that every human life is a precious gift from God, created in His image and worthy of dignity, protection, and love. That conviction is why we are proud to stand alongside Right to Life of Northeast Indiana (RLNI) in their mission to defend the most vulnerable in our society, our pre-born neighbors.
Each year, RLNI hosts its Annual Fall Banquet, a night of encouragement, fellowship, and renewed commitment to the pro-life cause. This year’s event will be held on Monday, October 14, 2025, at the Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne. We invite members of Redeemer, along with our friends and neighbors, to join us for this inspiring evening.
A Special Evening with Kirk Cameron
The 2025 keynote speaker will be Kirk Cameron, well-known actor, filmmaker, and outspoken Christian advocate for family and faith. Over the years, Kirk has used his platform in Hollywood and beyond to champion biblical truth and to speak out on cultural issues from a Christian worldview. His commitment to protecting life and equipping Christians to engage our culture with courage makes him a powerful voice for the pro-life movement.
Guests will have the opportunity not only to hear from Kirk Cameron but also to connect with others in northeast Indiana who share a deep commitment to protecting life from conception to natural death. The banquet is more than just a dinner—it is a gathering of people united by the belief that every child deserves the chance to live and thrive.
Redeemer’s Ongoing Support for Life
At Redeemer Lutheran Church, our participation in this banquet is more than a yearly tradition; it is an expression of our faith in action. Every year, Redeemer reserves several tables so that our members can attend together. It is always a time of encouragement, fellowship, and strengthening our resolve to continue to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves (Proverbs 31:8).
Our congregation’s involvement in pro-life efforts flows naturally from our confession of faith. We gather weekly around God’s gifts of Word and Sacrament, where we hear the Gospel of Christ crucified and risen for the salvation of the world. In that Good News, we are reminded that each life—no matter how small, fragile, or vulnerable—matters to God. To care for our pre-born neighbors is simply to love our neighbor as Christ has first loved us.
